Carnatic Based/ Instruments songs....

Maybe this is an oft repeated topic but this is my first time around in the TFM Forums. Last night I listened to "thalayai kuniyum thamaraiye" from Oru Odai Nadiagiradhu and was mesmerized. I hadnt realized all this while that songs that use traditional carnatic percussion instruments like the mridangam seem to captivate me. (example Andhi Mazhai)

Though much of filmi songs are classical raaga based, I would really appreciate if members could suggest such IR songs that are Classical percussion instruments based. (mridangam, ghatam, thavil etc)

  Here are some that I can remember of the top of my hat:
  1) KoondhalilE megam vandhu kudi pugundhaLo kavi ezhudha from Bala Nagamma (?)
  2) Maan-jolai kiLidhano maan-dhano veppan-dhoppu kuyilum needhano from KizhakkE pogum rayil
  3) Sangeedha jaadhi mullai kaanavillai from Kaadhal oviyam
  4) Maapillaikku maaman manadhu maamanukko kaaman manadhu from Netri kann (although this song also has some western beats)
  5) VandhaL MahalakshimyE en veetil endrum avaL saatchiyE
  6) Thogai ilamayil aadi varugudhu vaanil mazhai varumo from PayanangaL mudivadhillai
  7) Raga deebam Etrum nEram puyal mazhaiyo from Payanagal mudivadhillai
