Female vs. Male North Indian Singers in TFM

I find that female singers from the North that sing in TFM like Shreya Ghosal and Sadhna Sargam are far more tolerable than male singers like Udit Narayan and Sukhvinder Singh. Anyone else find this to be so? Why do the female singers seem to be better?

  because the tolerance level for female singers has already been raised in the IR days with the likes of Jency ...the male Tamil killers arrived late and the tolerance is just building up:-)

  I do not think you can make a statement like that...
  
  Asha Bhonsle and Lata M had pronunciation problems in Tamil. Even Kavitha K (Tamilian from Bombay) had problems with Tamil pronunciation. I think Sadhana Sargam is doing pretty good job. (Does she sing in Hindi at all?).
  
  Even Hariharan and Shankar M are from North (even though Tamilians) - their Tamil and Hindi pronunciations are pretty good. But we can not say the same about SPB and KJY Hindi pronunciation.

  Good topic, I do agree with Ravi, North Female singers seems to be far better than the northie nasal legendary male singers :))
  
  Sadhana Sargam is excellent, her tamil pronounciation is not bad either, far better the legendary kings like Narayans, Nigams, Sanu's, and .....etc!, not to mention their majestic singing abilities to sing through their noses, instead of their throats, it is sad that ARR introduced such legends to TFM, :((

  Can you please read the message - it is about North Vs. South Singers singing in each other's language. Not in their mother tongue.
  
  If you love SPB/KJY, it does not mean that their Hindi pronunciation is good. It is not good.
