Is One Man Domination Coming to End in TFM

Friends
I see one man domination(MD) coming to end finally in TFM.
Like in 60s it was MSV and late 80s till Dalapathi it was IR and from 90 to 2000 is ARR but with coming of 2001 we have very hightly talented MDS emergin HJ,YSR,KR,PM and so on
so now the field is wide open for everyone?
I think it is good for the TFM as such.
Will this continue or ARR will continue to lead the pack?

  While every other md's start their engine..Rahman has already reached the stars..the only reason that Rahman is out of the picture is b/c he has choosen to be..as soon as he is done with Bombay Dreams..Watch out..he'll take over...And domanite once again

  The field seems to be wide open becoz of the supremo's absence. This will be a temporary void. Let's see what happens when

  I think there had never been a `one man domination' after IR! Though ARR was/is riding high, it's below 5 movies a year and do you call that domination? Less than 10% market share????

  I support Eden in the realistic sense.
  
  But really, I think that in India in general, it's ARR domination. It's unbelievable how this guys name is is the only one associated with popular Indian music. Sometimes when I read articles, I sort of feel like they are trying to write these sickly sweet things about him but to be honest, he is the only one who has made a place in people's mind so much so that, when they go to buy CD's, if they say ARR's album, most people will by it without listening to the songs.
  
  So I think that it does exist in a sense. But I have heard that IR used to be dominant.
  
  Frankly, I don't see a new style of music coming out in anytime near the future. I mean, I just can't see anything forming. IR brought folk and ARR brought a well blended mix of western and indian. But Indians in large won't go just for Indian nor for plain western. So you have the ultimate right now. So there won't be any thing after ARR as far as domination goes, I believe.
  
  
  PS: I am one who heard 'Dalapathi' and 'Chinnathambi' and the likes as a young child and used to think that no one could make better music. So I confess, I believe I will be proved wrong in the future. At least, I hope so:-))

  I will also agree with eden as ARR gives eve less that 5 films a year.
  
  I feel that its a good sign. If some MD is reluctant then he will be kicked out. He should allways try to produce the best.

  It is a welcome change. MSV deserve the longevity as he gave melodies with a variety. IR dominated the scene with new directors and producers which clicked because of nonavailability of a stiff competitor around, since old producers and directors gave up films during his time. There was a commercial rat race. Hence it lacked variety at a point. ARR who is a commercial jingle specialist became a tfm MD and did wonders with available films. I will never call him as dominating. He is more interested in doing more jingles to earn more. He even prefers devotional music in his interviews. His Melodies are no doubt dominating.
  
  It is only with ARR era that new music directors are coming up and even Deva and IR relatively seniors are surviving too. Imagine IR domination and any other MD including MSV.

  I was wondering how IR was successful all these days. Had it not been for your explanation, I would have been totally at a loss. Yeah, there was no variety too..Now we see varieties . I think the foundation which ARR started 'Free keyboard for any aspiring MD and a film chance along with it' must be the reason for all this. Like you said I cannot imagine IR domination..what a musical desert it would have been !!!
