The songs of BABA are all disappointing and i still cant believe it is ARR who has done the scores.Deva or Sirpi would have done better than this.Total crap!!!!

Think this way. RK himself might have asked ARR to be different and melodious and asked him to score like IR (since IR refused). Could be a wonderful if IR had scored the music especially since this is more philosophical with religious mix.

BABA Music is superb!!!
As usual with any Rahman album, the music takes quite while before making you addictive.
And after hearing it for a week, I am totally in love with all the songs.
I would rate this album alongside Indian. Coz both the albums have the same sort of songs and should be given equal ratings.
And talking of Rajini-Rahman combination, Baba is leaps and bounds ahead of Padaiyappa.
But may be just slightly below Muthu.
Anyway, hats off to Rahman for the magical music and Full marks to Rajini for guiding Rahman to give such soulful melodies.
Thalaivar once again proves that his choice of MD was the best.
I also heard that from my audio shop guy (who has good contacts with the audio companies) that Rajini is so very happy with Baba's music that Rahman is surely going to do Rajini's next film, which would be directed by Hit maker Shankar.
Hail Rajini !!! Hail Rahman !!!

To those who were expecting something special in Baba songs, I think it is a bit of disappointment, because, of late, ARR's hit albums dont need to be necessarily heard for a week before addicting u. I agree that this one might be great after hearing for longtime.. I, a big ARR fan, didnt expect it.. Anyway, we have to accept the reality... the truth that ARR is no GOD to produce real great gems all the time.

remember the first when u ppl heard ( kulu valilay from the movie MUTHU) .
i thought it was crap, but listening to it again n again, it was one of the best song in the movie, ARR has his own way presenting a music piece, and i bet he had produced the best Music in this movie BABA,
If the director, producer and Rajini SIr himself didnt like it they would never record it, and start selling BABA soundtrack.....
the reason i guess ppl says < ARR music is crap) the movie because , his his music sounded different, he composed something which we never heard before... so when ppl heard it , they think its crap.... and ANOTHER reason because
a music should be relevant to the story line of the movie. music plays a main role in movie,
remember IRUVAR , LAGAAN ... each movie has its identity... music plays a main role...if ppl like it they will buy it ..... different ppl has different taste ......dont under estimate ARR music...................................( sorry for the long comment about this topic, no offence .....loyal fan of ARR )

U CAN WAKEUP A PERSON WHOES REALLY SLEEPING,but for a guy who is acting as if hes sleeping its difficult 2 wake them up......so they not going 2 chg.dont worry..arr music will excel simply coz hes not oly a gud music director but a godfearing and gud human being 2........bye!!!!
