Rupaka Talam 3 Beat cycles ??

I was going thru this page.

It states that Rupaka talam is 3 beat cycles. The commen version of Rupaka talam called as chatusra jati rupakam is 6 beat cycle. It is counted explicitly every two beats which makes it appear as though it is 3 beat cycle. This needs to be corrected. Even Chapu talam is counted 3 times in a beat cycle.
