Illaiyaraja's 800th Film (How soon?), IR and MSV's dramatic achievements

Music stalwart fans like Srikanth, Srinath, Sankar, etc. maybe knowledgeable of when IR's 800th movie is going to be released. Also, we can appreciate from these gentlemen what MSV's and IR's landmark achievements have been and are going to be. Like they worked together in how many films? How many songs IR composed max in one day? Which songs were dramatic to compose? What surprises they experienced? What did they miss? Where do they compose? I know IR does in Prasad studios, what about for MSV? When is IR's new studio going to be launched?

  One of the best of IR is from Aranmanai Kili.
  
  SJ singing rasaave unaii vidamaatten!! I dont think anybody could do justice other than SJ for that song.
  
  Rajkiran and IR combination gave some gems of songs. I think he is one of the guy who got the best from IR.

  Ravi, most probably Kamal has persuaded IR to do different versions of the same songs in Hindi, after the debacle of APPU RAJA songs which did not click in Hindi as much as they did in Tamil - this is a strong possibility - that way, IR definitely must have uzhachhirukkavendum !

  Madhan: hmm.. Maybe Kamal shd have booked Anu Malik for the Hindi version. If he reproduces IR's tunes there is a greater chance of it being a hit than if IR scores directly for the Hindi version. :-). (This is said in a lighter vein. mudindhal sirikkavum. No flames please.)

  the best person for this job would be ARR . He is considered highly 'resourceful' in hindhi circles and he can get better quality in lyrics too:-)

  rameshb: I made the remark on past record.. not on supposed capabilities.. IR pOttu hit aanatha vida, IR tunes-a AMs pOttu (eg. priya priya, dhak dhak etc..) hit aanathu athigam. Also Anu Malik has experience doing this for Gentleman. He just reproduced ARR's tunes mostly in that movie, but was credited as the MD. (They actually thanked ARR in the credits!) There is a slight, although significant, diff. in our posts. :-).

  you are probably right, AM made a big hit of 'viraasat' when he recycled tunes from 'devar magan'. I think the movie even got award for best song . He indeed made the song 'paayali chunmun chunmum' ('inji iduppazhaga') sound good in hindi.
  BTW, the earlier posting was in a lighter vein, i know the credentials of ARR:-)
