Twisted Voice of S.Janaki !!!

That's a wrong title!! Anyway S.Janaki used to sing like a kid, old women, horny woman... what n ot..

Some such songs are..

1) Daddy Daddy from Mouna Geethangal (kid)
2) Kanna Neyenge from Rusi Kanda Punai (small kid)

  Chithi sollu sollu from Kanimuthu papa
  
  Later, other than the songs already listed,toothpaste irukku from Ranga,

  I enthusiastically entered this thread to give my take on how twisted S.J.'s voice is, until I realized this is a pro-S.J. thread. This has got to be the most ironic title in TFM page since my favorite, "Ilayaraja the wonderful lyric writter".

  yeppavaavadhu avangalukku thondaila 'kich kich' vandaa mattume ' keech keech' nu paaduvanga.
  Listen to the intricate gamakas she does in one of the tough songs in TFM 'isai arasi' song. SHE EASILY overshadows PS.Another example is 'pallavi enru mannan solla paaduvenadi'.
  Listen to the sangathi she delivers in the WORD 'paaduvenadi' and compare PS's plain way of singing the same.
  Udhaya, u seem to have diff yardsticks for acknowledging improvisation done by male (SPB) and female (SJ). Reconsider your stance . :)
