One of the TFM pages, someone told “ PS sung 148 songs for IR. (proof.:raajangahm.com “). Someone replied “ no, so many songs are missing”. I just started collecting the songs. Very interesting part is “ some good numbers of IR is sung by PS in telugu
“ chinnathayaval thantha raasaave” – dalapathi ( SJ in tamil)
“valayosi kalakalakala ena kavithaigal - sathya (lata mangehkar in tamil)
“naanoru sindhu, kavadi sindhu” - sindhu bhairavi ( chitra in tamil)
“ore naal unai naan nilavil paarthathu”– ilami oonjaladugirathu ( VJ in tamil)
“kanna varuvaya mere ketkiral” -- manthil uruthi vendum (chitra in tamil)
“manjolai kili thano, maan thano” –kizhake poghum rayil
“ithayam poghuthe,enaye pirinthe” – puthiya vaarpugal (jency in tamil)

  Heard these 2 songs of PS-IR combo recently. My!!! such lovely underrated songs.

  "Gandhamu puyyaruga" is a Thyagaraja keerthana. KVM has used quite many classical songs like this in movies.

  I almost didn't notice your post and was about to post the link from musicindiaonline.com. Anyway, thanks.
  
  I also would like to add that this movie was directed by K.Viswanath, the same guy who directed Sankaraabharanam. It is a decent movie. The music was the usual good melodies from KVM. Especially Gandhamu puyyarugaa and Kanchiki pothava krishnamma were super hits. AIR Hyderabad and Vividh bharathi used to play these quite regularly.
  
  By the way, shobhodayam means Good Morning.

  I heared the tel. version of "rasave unna naan ennithan" from Thanikkattu raja sung by PS.
  Chirunavi Olikinchi Chilakamma, paruvaalu ---- chilukinthi ( words may not be correct).
  Other two famale songs were by SPS.

  I already raised this question, want to repeat... why IR did not make PS to sing these songs in Tamil?
  Even in direct telugu movies he didnt use her much (max. 30 songs). But, in dubbing movies he may not involve directly. As PS was leading in Tel. the producers might have chose PS. This is my assumption.

  Common Kalai, SPS also did a very neat job in 'Rasave unnai naan ennithaaan ' song.
  PS's voice had become little mature at that point.

  I agree , SPS also done a neat job.
  About your statement on strain in her voice, even I realise some time. may be various reasons. But, not always. I can say few songs even at late 80's she reached high pitches at ease.
  In late 80's , I heared a songs "Gnanakanni thiranthu vaithen paar magale paar". Enna oru ganeer kural! Koil mani mathiri olithathu!. She sing it effortlessly.
  Did U hear the songs " Janaki jaane, Rama" from the movie "dhwani"(mal). It is relaesed on 1988. Simply superb, under Naushad's music. She done it with very ease. In that song, after " Aagama saara. jidha samsaara", there is a beatiful humming, in which KJY's version U can see a gap and PS sings in at a stretch. (KJY has his own style).
  I dont like to justify PS's talents with songs under IR's music . He given some decent songs, but, nothing newly extracted from her. She has done the better songs before.

  I could see the tel. dubbing of "mundhanai mudichu", in which four songs were by PS.The name of tel. version is "othandE Pelli". "Anthi varum neram" and "chinnanchiru kiliye " tel version also sounds very good.
  1."Thalapula rAgam valapula thalam, neeva nA prAnam ika naake ne lokam" is the equivalent of "anthi varum nEram" in tamil. (I coudnt noted the first line of other songs)
  I have found a PS song in the tel. dubbing of "24 mani meram". I dont know te;. mpvie name.
  1.Oka muchaka manamu ichaga chilipi mOhala manasu ichaga(tel) is the equivalent of "kulikkum podhile manasu kekkala, neneikkum podhile". The tamil version is sung by MVD,SJ and tel version is SPB,PS.
  It will be really helpful, if someone can find the songs.

  In Mundhanai mudichu, there were fours songs with female voice
  
  Chinnanchiru kiLiye (SJ with SPB)
  Andhi varum neram (SJ with SPB)
  KaNNa thorakkaNum saami (SJ with MVD)Vaa vaa vathiyare vaa (SPS with MVD)
  
  The first two are sung by PS in telugu version, as you mentined. How about other two? And was there any more song with female voice in MM?

  Actually five songs were by PS. Other then "vA va vathiyare" all are by PS. "velakku veha nerathile", "nAn pudikkum mApilla thAn", and "kanna thorakkanum". I have "uyarntha ullam" tel. version also. All songs by SPS including "kaalai thendarl".
