Why IR doesn't compose songs like the 80s?

All times in EST +10:30 for IST.

IR used to compose wonderful songs like

1. Sangeetha Megam
2. Ilaya nila
3. Ilamai enum poongatru
4. En iniya pon nilave
5. Poongaatru
6. Raja Raja chozhan
etc.. etc..

These songs are all time favorites and can be enjoyed even now. My question is why doesn't he compose such songs now, with that kind of an orchestration and melody. Technology has improved but...
