Please listen to the following songs again and again and you will clearly understand the depths, breadth and heights to which Ilayaraja has gone like no other creative genius has. This is a real lesson in the most exceptional and complex of musical composition delivered just simply like that by IR for the ordinary listener:

and, I am telling you this is just touching the surface, but these compositions require a lot of listening to know that evey other composer, band or group or act or whatever or anybody is just a speck of dust in the shore that of IR's ocean of music! Anyone can challenge me with any song of any other composer of this earth and tell me if I am wrong.

  You seem to miss the point. If you had compared 2 brands of cigarattes, it wud have made sense. Anyway IR fans should understand that what I said is a fact and there is no use in trying to prove it wrong. You can worship IR in TFM, but if you go beyond that and address IR with something like "the best ever seen", people will only mock at you. But like cho said, this is newtfmpage.com so no problem.

  in the past he was rejected in bollywood or shall we say kollywood was lucky?
  in the present as long as kamal hasan lives ilayaraja will get chances.

  Ilaya's music will infuse life even into a dead body and bring him back...so if there r ppl who dont appreciate his music it only means they r long dead and gone!!! THEY SHOULD NOT TALK ABT MUSIC AND FIRST TRY TO LEARN WHAT IS MUSIC AND THEN GO BACK AND LISTEN TO ILAYA'S MUSIC. THEN THEY WILL APPRECIATE IT IF THEY R NOT DEAD!
