CAUTION: Please create good Lyrics and good Tamil Films !!!

Hello all,(Specially to directors and song writers)

I'm a Citizen of India.
I like our culture very much and the welfare of our children community.

But nowadays, the films are becoming worse..
Showing unwanted scenes and very vulgar lyrics...
These represent that the directors and Song writers
dont think about the Youngsters welfare and they just need commercial sales.

I can see many kids singing vulgar lyrics without
knowing what they are singing.

I CANNOT TOLERATE THIS !!!

Please have a look at Pithamagan Film.
it has entertainment but doesnt teach any bad thinkings to youngters.

Today films (so many), like Boys, Thiruda Thirudi, etc ... are high harmful to youngsters community.

Please avoid like these films.

IF NOT , THEN I HAVE TO FORCE ALL DIRECTORS AND SONG WRITERS BY STRONGLY COMMENTING THEM IN FORUMS.

Remember: Prevention is better than Cure !!!

  I dont think the movie industry is controlled by directors and script writers. I see it more like the stock market. There are lot more factors affecting quality and type of movies being produced.
  
  Criticism is one of the factors. But no critic cannot change the direction and motivation of the industry. Nor can ratings. Simple human psychology will tell you that rating a movie as unsuitable for a specific collection of people will only increase their curiosity to watch it. In my opinion ratings have never been effective means of controlling viewers, so the idea that it will control the industry itself is far from realization.
  
  I agree that the current situation is bad and warrants some action. My friends and I did discuss about this about a year ago, when tamil movies were still worse. The only response was go make a clean movie and lead the way. You cannot be out of the industry and try to cleanse it if you do not understand the parasitics involved there.
  
  And please do not claim that movies are damaging our kids. We have all been thru the phase to know that we had access to information thru the most insignificant means.
  
  As someone clearly pointed out, sometimes movies set the stage for a future society and depict manners in which an individual might behave. Some other times, they show the bare raw truth of how youngsters are leading life actually. If protector thinks that it is OK that his children actually lead such a life, but it should not be publicized, he is in for a surprise. I think parents ought to review their stand and seek a better solution rather than blaming an industry that only sought to show the world the state of our society.
  
  In our conservative society, we hope that children be ignorant of s.e.x and right on the first night of marriage by some magical spell they know exactly what is to be done. We will not tell them what to do, we will neither allow them to learn thru movies or books, nor thru friends or relations.
  
  What do you expect? Some angel to come down and hand a condom to a young ignorant couple right at the time of need? Grow up guys. Rather then letting your children know the hard way that violence, s.e.x, alcohol, cigarettes and drugs are no means to success, let them be prepared with the knowledge before-hand to save themselves.

  Tamil movies are semi vulgar all the time, the dirty producers and co makes most vulgar songs than ever, i think it has become a trend to do more and more vulgar songs after "O Podu" from Gemini. Latest i heard/seen songs like "Nattusarakku" from PKSaravanan and "Vedi Veesuraan" from Jute, the first one is censored but the second song is more dirty why didnt censors censured it? Thers no decent lyric writers any more even Vairamuthu writes vulgar songs. When do they put and end to this torture?

  Your frustration at the film industry is perfectly legit. I feel the same way. It probably has to do with Hollywood's [destructive] influence. Living in the United States, I know what goes on. We Thamizhans are really overdosing on Western influence. In the process, we are compromising the splendor and simplicity of our God-given culture.
