Is Ilayaraja Made Directors or the Dirctors Made IlayaRaja

There is always a dwelling talk in the south indian film , whether Ilayaraja's music made the Directors popular among the public or the Dirctors Made IlayaRaja popular among the public.
There were a lot of controversies among the legendary directors and Ilayaraja due to that.So many Directors they have chosen different Music directors to prove that they can stand without IlayaRaja.Will they succeed? Lets discuss about that on this thread...

  For 20 years, TFM was nothing but IR, so let us put it thiss way. IR has been a one man industry and he made directors, producers, actors, superstars. he also made a lot of crazy music fans out of normal people. plus, if you knew to sing a IR song in the 70s and 80s you (I mean, any college boys) could go to any girls's college cultural program and win not just prizes but a lot of beautiful fan base. vera enna venum. on top of that, many pozhudhu pogama irrukkura avanunga society still respected you and forgave you if you were an IR fan.

  but now i heard ARR LOST MARKET IN TFM ,AND MUSIC INDUSTRY for tamil films had come to dogs,

  From Day 1, a lot of IR fans have been hoping and spreading rumours that ARR has lost his market. No one beleives them though.
  
  In the meantime, ARR is rising higher and higher and has presently reached a height never thought previously possible or ever done by any of his predecessors.

  NOM for anyone. But this statement from Alavandhan is to a large extend true. Many youths know AM, HJ and others and when it come to IR they do not raise their eye brow as they do for others. Who is the reason for such a state is entirely an other debate but IR has become a veteran in may eyes. SO NOM for IR also. This time I am writing what I really feel. NO intention to respond to intimidation or intimidate anyone.

  information i mentioned is authenticated and from a film distributor who knows film market trends better.he has distributed more than 75 films in past 20 years.
  
  and i do agree that ARR is also is a great music director (alone)who has his own trend, but no longer sold in the market.
