hello tfm ppl
it seems to me that the entire tamil film music is dominated by the north indian singers who take tamil words for granted and spoil the very essence of the language.( including shankar mahadevan who pronounces anbae as embaey and inbam as embam and so on!!!!!).sukhwinder and udit need nothing to add
its really a pity that music directors like rahman dont really recognise local talents like harish raghavendra who can really give their best contributions musically and sing tamil in good feel as well.
will the persons concerned realize this

  yes, i agree with you all. i also feel that it is inevitable. but, the md can detect their shortcomings in the initial stage itself. ir also used many singers notably, jc, mano, deepan chakravarty, arunmozhi, unnimenon,...
  
  somehow they coudn't make it.
  
  it is a sad fact that many people really do not care about the singers (unless, it is exceptionally bad) though they notice it.

  I am sorry for misleading u... I was not saying that spb had telegu accent while singing his songs but he does display it when he acting or in his inteviews and I have spoken to him directly also...
  
  b4 u say it... i will say that.. yes! it does not have relevance to singing capabilities... and so why bring this into the topic...
  
  if u notice the prev postings there were allegations there that we shld use only home made products .. which was what i was precisely contesting...
  
  spb , my fav singer, does NOT have any accent while singing but he is NOT a home made product...

  The past 30 yrs has seen and got used to teluguish and malayalish tamil. Poor tamils, living in a composite state, patiently listen to all the styles of pronounciations. This state of affairs has gone to compering chicks with thanglish and thamingilam. Poor tamils, in the years to come this will become officiated like the songs which are now approved as tamil original accent by tfm fans. The nativity of pronounciation doesnt matter for tamils, whereas it matters in hindi telugu and malayalam. Imagine the songs by tamil natives in those film industries with a 30 year longivity.
