The differences in the music of ARR, KR, YSR, HJ.

I was listening to a compilation of Hits of 2000. It had songs by ARR, KR, YSR and HJ. It's not that they sounded similar but each one should be having his own individual touches...I want some insights from modern music pundits...

  1)There are 2 R's in ARR
  one R in KR and YSR
  but no R in HJ.
  
  2) Even though KR and YSR have one R
  YSR has got three letters Y, S and R
  but KR has got only one R!
  
  3) By ARR, reminds me of ARR sugandha paakku
  KR - KRS perungaayam
  YSR and IR - doesn't remind me of anything

  The whole group sound the same. I think the reason is because of the same keyboard and the same recording studio. I think this is the right time for them to start using quality voices to give prominence to the lyrics, to give a variety!
  
  There is subtle difference only with Deva who almost sounds with a difference, using almost the same electronic instruments.

  HJ = ARR
  KR = IR
  YSR != IR; YSR != ARR
  
  This is the way they compose, not equating their potential/merit.
