This is a mail which our genious Harris wrote to some guy who is a member of his fan club "awesome harris":

Regarding my forthcoming films, ARUL has been set to
release
by 1st of may,PEPSI is going to get out 14th of this month,Audio of
ARUL will be out by 10th,if u ask about the songs.....mmmm again the
album follows its predecessor SAAMY AND KOYIL.But certainly there
will be
a new approach for that commercial film with chinese instruments.
well, this will help to know more about the sound tracks of ARUL.

1.Ukkadathu pappadame.....tippu,L.R.easwari and theni kunjarammal

2.Pathu viral unadhu .....S.P.balasubramaniam and swarnalatha.

3.ottiyanam senjitharan ...hariharan and madhumitha.

4.punnakunnu sonna ........tippu and sriram

5.suudamani ................ranjith and shalini singh.

only one song has been recorded for ANNIYAN and 2 songs has been
composed.

  In the latest vikatan, there is an interview of Harris. In that, when he talks about his forthcoming films, he has mentioned a film starring Kamal and directed by Gautam Menon.
  
  If this film is really happenning, then it will be interesting to see how this combination of Kamal and Gautam works out.

  Harris Jayaraj is the latest sensation in the world of Tamil film music. Since he is ‘very busy’ these days, star-director Shankar had no choice but to wait for his dates.
  
  Harris Jayaraj made his debut in the film ‘Minnalae’ and then became the leading music director with hits like ‘12B’ and ‘Kaaka Kaaka’. For the first time, he is going to work with director Shankar for the new film ‘Anniyan’.
  
  Harris Jayaraj said- “I have lot of respect for director Shankar. But, I really am busy with other films right now. So, I explained my situation to him and told him that it would be impossible for me to compose music for his film ‘Anniyan’. But, Shankar patiently waited for me to complete his works. We had gone to Fukado Islands to compose the film’s music. We left as a director and a music composer but we returned as good friends. Our tastes and wavelengths synced well. The audience needs something fresh in music. They have some expectations from my songs. We’re sure that we have more than what they expect.”

  ya here is it. the punnaka song in the middle sounds very much like othakaramarimuthu. and odiyana song is similar to dolna beat and hariharan in the both songs, may be reason but the beat is so similar... why hj so obsessed with arr. and his beats ???

  Dont compare Harris Jayaraj and AR Rahman, I can see many different from both of them...
  Harris music has different style in his music and Arrahman has different in his music. as i know both of them are great music director...
