Mandira Bedi and R Madhavan in JAY JAY, Music: Bharadwaj

Mandira Bedi of the Sony TV's World Cup, Extra Innings is playing the female lead in Oscar Films, Ravichandran's next film to be directed by Gemini Charan. The music is by Bharadwaj. The model and actress, from the small screen in Mumbai, is all set to make an appearance in a movie produced by Oscar films to be directed by Charan. Seems Bedi had taken a flight to Chennai, at her own cost, for a story sitting. And signed on the dotted line promptly, when she heard the script. And also she is to appear with Parthiban in his home production! Some excitement for the Tamil viewers! The film also marks the 25th film of Bharadwaj.

The already married 31 year old Mandira has worked with our own Maddy (Madhavan) in Mumbai in a television serial called as Ghar Jhamaai directed by Ananth Mahadevan 4 years back before Madhavan came to south india from Mumbai. They are coming together in this film. A worth wait.

  Who told Mandira cannot act? She has acted in more than 1500 episodes of Hindi Television serials and also done a role in Adithya Chopra's Sharukh starrer, "Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayengae". She was one of the most wanted television artist. Her "Shanthi", "Ghar Jamaai" (With Madhavan), and many other serials have been hits. What do u people know about Mumbai?
