Kadhal Virus Review

"The album kicks in with the very catchy ye ye ennachu sung by Vasundhara Das in manner that only she can. Next is a beauty of a ballad sonnalum by Unnikrishnan and Harini.

Vaan nila by Srinivas and Karthik is a highly innovative rock-n-roll track that would not let your feet rest. S P Balu is in his usual fantastic form in the heart warming yenthan vanin. Rahman takes off again into a very progressive FTV style track in bailmore with T R Simbu and Tippu doing the vocal honours. And the album ends on a grand note with Mano and Clinton going for the gut with o kadhale, which also sits on an emotional high note in the movie.

Kaadhal Virus has all the ingredients of a typical Kathir-A R Rahman soundtrack. A great mix of upbeat youthful tracks and soulful ballads"

  I too saw KV in India and one highlight is the BGM. Right from the start, to the Sun rise scene to the First meet of the Heroine...the Scene where the hero hears the heroine complaining about him to her friend..and the few shots before "Endhan Vaanil " song...VoW what a BGM.....surely if one could see this lousy film for 2 and hours then it can be only for the music and BGM...Richard was a good choice for the roll and Abbas too as he was his own self..(actor not knowing how to act)...
  
  I don't know what the hell of a story did Kadhir have in his mind...heard news that Kadhir will soon become ARR's relative....ARR's troubles are going to just manifold.

  In the present days where all the music is being heard and downloaded from the web, instead of being bought on the shops, even GOD cant make money if he comes up with a soundtrack.
  
  Anyway, looking at the movie reviews, I am not surprised that the movie didnt do well. But KV soundtracks was one of the best in TFM in recent times. So either your facts arent really facts or it should be still picking up

  It's funny how people judge music by the creator rather than the music itself. Quality must be judged absolutely, not with ambiguous reference points. The japanese are hugely successful because they rely on fact, not opinion. Take a tip or two from that, and don't make fools of yourself, emotionally strung humbugs.
