Why does the IR family insist on torturing us with Bhavatharini's voice?

Yesterday I came across a copy of Punnagai Poove and I began listening to it. It was very impressive till I heard a song which was supposedly "Sung" by Bhavatharini. It was called Yeno Uyir Mele. It has to be one of usual occasions when she has killed a song. The album would have been a top ranking album, but she spoiled it.
I think that the greatest gift the whole IR family could do for Tamil Film Music is to stop her from singing. The biggest culprit here is IR himself who seems to give her at least one song per movie. YSR and KR have had the good sense to cut down on giving her songs.

  She came in a movie (*ing Surya, i think!) where a MD records her song... AFAIK that was the ONLY instance of her singing under an outside MD even if it was just pretence!!

  I too think she murders any song she sings. Have you ever noticed that the MD in the Raja family never use Harini ( who is an excellent high pitch voice singer) to sing a song , but always use Bhavatharini.. who actually doesn't sound nice at all.

  Ramesh, YSR used Harini for KAdhal Website and in Thulluvadho Ilamai for Vayadhu Vaa Vaa and Kaatrukku..
  KR used Harini in Dum Dum Dum for Athaan varuvaagha and Suttrum Boomi.

  3.YSR
  4.T.R.Muralidharan (Sree)
  5.Sirpi
  6.Deva
  
  Bhavathrini is very good if used for right songs like
  1.mayil Poola
  2.Nee Illai Yendral ( DHEENA)
  3.O Sexy ( Three Roses )
  4. Oliyilae ( AZHAGi)
  5.ETho onne ( SMK)
  6.Thudikinra ( Nerruku Ner )
  7.Thavikirrane ( TIME )
  
  
  But my personal opnion her voice does not suit songs like ALps malai ( Thendenane Vanthathu ) ,Mastan aMAstana those kind of songs ...
  
  Infact there is one song in Chandralekha which was very good but i feel bhavadharini voice has made it look less good ...

  Bhava is only good for songs meant for kids. I liked her in 'chittu chittu kuruvikkanda' from Azhagi and 'mayil pola' from Bharathy. She has ruined some great numbers like 'Anal thanil vaadidum poove' from Chandralekha and 'Alai meethu vilaiyaadum ilam thenrale' from Kaadal kavidai.Hm......... Blood is thicker!!!

  Infact in some of the kayar( director) movies IR has given good melodious numbers but since it was sung by Bhavatharini the song was quite average ...

  Bavatharini,fit for singing nursery rhymes! exceptions Mastana, Mayilpola! There is a singer by name sunandha in IR team, she sings for tracks,but she didnt get any chance inspite of being good singer, but BV gets it!

  Sunandha is QUITE GOOD, but hasnt been given enough chances. Has also sung "Mannava*2" from Walter Vetrivel, that was a good one

  Kanmanikku Vaalthu Padum..
  
  Bavatharaini's singing was superb. (Same song was rendered by IR himself too.. which was good too)
  
  Why no more songs like that being given to her anymore??
  
  Another one is the duet with unni.. Nadhiyoram Veesum Thendral in Alexander. (I bought the cd just for that one song)

  Bhavatharini is not a good singer period. All the songs that she has sounded average in are only because the song is great. All these songs would have been smash hits whoever had sung them. Even if it was muniyamma from the most remote village in southern India, Oliyile would have sounded great. That is the greatness of IR. He can make even a tone deaf Bhavatharini be appreciated by TFM fans.

  Have heard the song bhavatharani sung in Kathal Samrajiyam. I think she pronounces the words like a engslishman trying to learn tamil. I have nothing against her voice but mds have to make singers pronounce words more clear. Sometimes you wonder whether its really tamil. is it the mds, producers, songwriters or singers you can blame.
  
  BY the way Udith Narayanan should stay to hindi songs not tamil.

  when u ppl can accept vijay , arhun and some other bad singers along with udit, sadhana and many hindi singers who spoil songs.. why can't bhava?
  harini is not having any high pitch . she cannot reach high pitch. she sings in medium pitch.

  Who knows? Veetula sandai mandai odaiyumai irukkum. Thats why ponnal poradhu endru IR and sons would have given her one song per head.
  In that Bharathy Mayil Pola songgukku adichudhu
  National Award.
