Why is IR not using SPB at all thses days

it is very disappinting to note that IR has not been giving songs to SPB at all in his recent films even when ARR is giving atleast one song in every movie ?

the best period of TFM and IR was only when SPB sang immortal melodies for IR.

Is IR not in good terms with SPB ?

  Hmm... curious subject. You might notice, IR hasn't in the past two years employed old favorites like Mano, Swarnalatha, MV, or even KSC, never mind SPB or PJ (actually I think IR dropped the latter long before).
  
  For those of you that eagerly wait for new IR albums, you will notice that IR has used KJY for one song in En Mana Vaanil, if that makes any of you happy. For me, it was such a breath of fresh air, considering that Raja nowadays always leaves the pathos songs for himself. One can pick up the album just for that song alone.
  
  Methinks that the only old-school singer he employs nowadays is himself. Only heaven knows why this is so. Even MSV, when he was past his golden era, employed his favorite singers to sing in his films.
  
  Well, anyhow, that's not to say that IR still cannot come out with great products. What did you guys think of Kasi? Azhagi? Solla Marantha Kathai? En Mana Vaanil? In fact, if i were to come out with a list of great albums w/o SPB, I could come up with at least 20 or so.

  - Vaidheki Kaathirunthaal
  
  Did any of these albums have SPB anywhere? Didn't these albums still have their share of great songs?
  BTW, now i remember, I think the last album SPB sang for IR was the recent kannada film 'Usire.' SPB got 2 songs and did a great song. :-)

  Raghu,
  IR's "Preminchedi Endukamma?" (Telugu versions of Kaadaluku Mariyadai's songs) songs are done by Mano, not SPB. And Setu's telugu version is scored by YSR, not IR.

  Raghu is right, SPB sang the key songs (Ennai thaalaatta varuvaalo & Oru pattampoochchi) in Preminchedi endukamma (KMariyathai in telugu). Mano only sang Oh baby baby song (which he didn't sing well).

  Yes, I know the telegu version of "Sethu" was done by YSR, but it's just a remake , YSR just copied his father :), & all the telugu version of Sethu has been rendered by SPB
  
  the Telugu version of k.mariyathai had two SPB song like kaumudi mentioned one one Mano song :)

  This is unbelievable! I had sent an email to SPB from his www.spbala.com site and I received a reply.... Just read his reply to understand what a great man he is. After singing 35000 songs, he calls himself a 'small singer'. So humble and down-to-earth.. That's what make him the greatest. His reply also indicates that he has no misunderstanding with IR at all..
