Who made the better team? Or do you feel some other MD brought the best out of KJY.

  Though KJY excelled in some of MSV's compositions, as far as showcasing his Classical side is concerned, it was IR (and Ravindran) who ensured that his Classical Music reached the masses. Sindhu Bhairavi did to TFM, what Shankarabharanam did to Telugu. But hats off to the Malayalam Film Industry for their superior effort in this area. They don't think twice before inserting a couple of pure classical numbers that do full justice to the artist's range in a 'pukka' commercial film, even though the lyrics are set in a different language! (e.g.: His Highness Abdulla)
  As for TFM, the Eighties was IR_Yesudas golden period, in my opinion!
