En tmizh puththANdunu sonnArA? If so, adhu enna all hubbers. NOV-nu directA sollalAmE? ;-)
saw dhoni this weekend..
saw it with ground level expectations, but overall pretty much satisfied with how 75% of the movie was.
The movie works nicely while subbu stays a common man, faced with totally relatable bread and butter issues.
The moment the movie slides into "Activist" mode, it loses gears and focus. Raaja's usually impeccable BGM too
falters as a result in those portions. Prakash Raj the actor too touches all the right note till the "Neeya Naanaa" episode.
after that it was all down hill. Radhika Apte was .. welll .. Apt in that role.
could have been a fantastic movie if it had been well life of a family struggling finding meaning through simple realistic acts of
fortitude and belief than bravado in a TV show... well... one more smart guy goes underestimating thamizh film viewer...
Agree to most of what Jaiganes has said above.
Idhukkaaga paarkkalaam. Though her character is sloppily written and as for Raaja, the source material itself is pretty poor. But he does operate at a different level way above the film, but itsnotenuf. The first hour and a half is not bad, can sit through but the last 20 minutes, mudiyalai. Liked the 'helicopter' shot to finish the film off. Nice touch there.
Avinga previous venture payanathukku thevalaam. ApdiyE VSekarish-aavE mudichirukkalaam, without getting judgemental. Indha Shankar route ellaam avarukku mattumE varum. Mysskin-aalayE mudiyalai, prakashraaj, totally unnecessary.
