Nice melody.
Entertainment industry lives at this moment. Sad state of affairs.
I remember seeing her last on stage at IR's concert for JayaTV in 2005. She sang a few songs, including Aatama, therottama. I...
First news I read this afternoon. Are there any words to express the shock and sadness of music lovers? Over the years, music has come to mean more than a handful of favorite personalities. I am...
Dinesh,
Please check the Vanijayaram songs thread. I have updated the links for the interview there.
Below are links to an interview of Vanijayaram, conducted by singer Unnimenon for a Malayalam channel. They speak mainly in english. You can hear her sing songs in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam etc. ...
Typo in the opening...for a Malayalam tv show, it should say.
Suresh,
You are very right. Amazing woman. Amazing talent. Amazing gems. My knowledge of Hindi is zilch, but can muster...
Here is an interview, from S Janaki for a Malayalam film, with loads of Tamil and other industry tidbits. Most wonderful interview I have seen, showcasing her versatality. This is God-given talent,...
Raaja Raajathaan
It's amazing to give live music in sport stadiums. Hope Raja does some more shows. There are many other songs of his that deserve to be picked.
I am not quite sure why a program is judged by entertainment factor. There is nothing wrong with a serious undertone to an interview. If you want a laugh, some comedy network would be the best...

I agree with Rahman. But then, we need to kick out the likes of Vijay out of Tamil cinema. Mudiyuma? Sickening craze that guy has...some things in life are a mystery.
BTW,
Besides munbe...
To my knowledge, this was spoken by Director Muthuraman at IR's JayaTV concert, Ilayaraja's ambition was to be a film music director.
On the part of SPB Charan, I will agree to an extent. MDs in Telugu though, have used him more extensively than in Tamil. He is as versatile as his father. I am not sure if he has as much baggage...
pallava naattu rajakumarikku is one of my favourite old songs of SPB. does anyone else notice how close SPB charan's voice is to his father.
A review of the Bay Area Concert with SPB, KJY, Chithra and Suchithra.

Seems like a few songs were changed.
Concert was very good. A number of evergreen melodious songs were sung. Lots of crowd. SPB is still phenomenal...no words to express. When he sang "Ballelakka" from Sivaji, it was the ultimate. ...
Tomorrow, there is a show with the 3 plus Chinmayi, Mukesh, Suchithra, Pa.Vijay at Air Canada Centre, Toronto.
Is it that the films all released at the same time? It has been confirmed through most interviews and articles that, in Tamil, she recdrded "Poojaik Etha poovithu" first from Neethana Antha Kuyil,...
Hi Madhu,
I don't recall hearing, I will try to find it.
