arima arima went from a mediocre song to my favourite song. reminds me of maaya machindra and vaaji vaaji with some much more aggression and style. AMAZING SONG!!! Hariharans plain singing is out of the world.

Couldn't agree more. Rahman ji truly reserves the best songs for himself. It's the second verse that impacts me the most. He always is at home when he sings in high notes with full-throttle. In the second verse when he elevates his high notes even further, adding the sufi touch, I had magical shivers sent down my spine and still do whenever I listen to it.
little bit of fana in this song..but it surely rcks
I thought it sounded more like "Uyirin Uyire" from Kaakha Kaakha
