Your Highness
My parents went to TN back in 2007 and my mum had some sort of eye infection. She had red and sore eyes for weeks, and the GP (Dr) here said, had she taken some sort of Antiviral injection she would have been immune to such virus, that was the reason for my question.

thats not something common which every person who visits india/tn need to be worried about.
if that is the case, then tourism would not have developed in india and every other country would have insisted the travellers to take such precautions...
if ur close one/friend had any such experience, its advisable to take suggestion from ur GP there and no point asking it in the hub as if u r planning go on a adventurous trip to amazon forest... though it is not ur intention, it actually comes as a insult for the country/touristm board/people living here and the hygienic system (atleast it communicates to me that way). i don say that india is very hygienic country, but is not as bad as u imagine it to be.
what i speak here maybe irrelevant or uncalled for, but just posted what i felt.
sorry for wasting ur time or if i hav said something wrong.
thanks.

The weather shouldnt be much of a bother Raghu. You will stay, eat and travel in air conditioned facilities.
Inside the temples, the air will be cool.
Never argue with a fool or he will drag you down to his level and beat you at it through sheer experience!

Hi
travelling may be problematic during rainy season in thanjavur area.
If you can bear sun during your outings ( from the comfort of a/c in car and room )
august is ok. Otherwise December and January is best to travel as the climate will be
