Megha - Listened twice so far..

My Pick - Chellam konjum Is IR trying a Yuvan here? I feel yuvan's voice suits this song. Lot of similarities with Kaatrai Konjam especially ludes

Mugilo Megamo - Nice Melody, IR version is better

Kalvane - Need to give a few more listen, haven't impressed much so far

Other songs - need some more time though Enna Vendum fell very flat to me..

After listening Megha, went back to Nila Soru's Kallale senju vacha - IR's territory... IR I known for years...

Mudiyavillai ........Kalvane is still non-stop on the loop. Can't seem to get enough of it.

Everything is so perfect - choice of singers, voice modulations, music etc. Just out of this world!

Exactly. Prelude is setting the ambiance very nicely. Kalvane is one example where right selection of singers enriches the beauty and it elevates the tune to an unexpected level.

very true. I wish he could bury the hatchet and get back with "Diamond". Dunno why he didnt go with thamarai for NEPV, Goutham Menon always works with her. IR might think lyric doesnt matter and music will get the emotion out but it doesnt work that way for simple folks like me. To make it worse the lyrics seem to distract from the emotion. IMHO, that video clip of IR humming saindhu sainthu tune was much more effective that the final song, YSR's voice added to the agony. thankfully there was a telugu version to fall back on.

I am quite glad hariharan did that song than Karthik. Like SPB doing thousands of songs, it would have added to Karthik's list if he did that.

Hariharan and Ramya handled it very well. Even Shreya may have been a bad choice.
