well lets talk abt the recent godfather and JOK, two outstanding BGM. in godfather when diamond babu is explaining abt thottapuram village the beautiful NIDHAPA flushes your heart aside..wonderfull piece in harikamboji raga with swarnalatha's voice plus orchestration so divine. The JOK's hindusthani classical when bhumika confess her love to surya amazing truly.

the title BGM is a reharsh version of khalbali. Lots of beats and guitars has been used. Very middle east feel of voice reside all over. The voice have been fused with effect making it sound groovy and funky.

cannot agree more...

i think it was because of Ashthos. he uses ARR to the max. most of the time he just lets ARRs music do the talking without any dialog.
amazing stuff frm Director and composer.
