What a coincidence! I saw the song "Zara Saamne Se Aavo" yesterday on big screen in a musical programme arranged at my club and immediately thought of posting it in this forum as this was the song I was reminded of when hearing the TMS-PS duet "Kannum Kannum" in "Kairasi" and not the song I had posted earlier from "Yehudi".

Yes, GR had copied this song in "Kalyanikku Kalyanam", I don't know for what reason, as his original, excellent TMS solo "Unnai Ninaikkiyile" in the same film is far superior in quality and imagination as per my tastes.

Yes, Chinna Pennana Podile is copied from "Que Sara Sara' but what a good adaptation! Jikki's voice is so sweet!

Can TFML post other "Ponmudi" songs so that we can hear and see whether they are remakes of Hindi tunes?
