These huge releases are such dampeners for repeats.Opening 2 weeks'layey 2-3 times paatha thaan undu.
Remember watching Pokkiri,housefull @ main Udhayam after 90+ days.Something that aint gonna happen ever again.

I am not sure if anyone noticed...He would have used Minsara Kanavu music also during the stunt sequence (saving his sister and other gals)....

In chennai currently.everywhere I go.from a tea shop talk to an elder person everyone speaks about THUPPAKI.compared to Sri Lanka,the posters and celebrations are at maximum level....

Vijay has a lot of strengths. Unfortunately he has been sedate and at times laidback which has worked as an advantage to others. One of Vijay’s major mistakes in the past is not choosing to work with good directors which he seems to have sorted out now. Though ridiculed/mocked consistently by a dedicated minority always, Vijay is back with a bang with Thuppakki and possibly shut the majority of them for now.
Vijay, this is just a beginning. Choose the best of directors and team and be judicious in your selection of movies. If that happens, the world will watch in awe all your wonderful talents.
